| You will
notice some changes to the membership fee structure for Eventing in 2010.
In previous years, the OHTA has included a Canadian Eventing membership in the OHTA fee. We then remitted this portion of the membership to Canadian Eventing. In 2009 for example, your OHTA membership fee included a CE amount of $10 for Seniors, $8 for Juniors, and $20 for families. For 2010, there will be 2 changes to this structure. First, the Canadian Eventing membership will be collected directly by Equine Canada when you buy your Sport License. The CE fees will be $20 for Seniors and $18 for Juniors. There are no Family memberships offered when purchasing a Sport License. Secondly, the cost for producing and mailing the Omnibus to Ontario members will no longer be borne by the OHTA; both the cost and the responsibility for mailing will be borne by Equine Canada. As a result, there will be a change to your membership fees. Your OHTA membership fees will be reduced by the amount of the Canadian Eventing membership, and by the cost of the Omnibus. The fees for 2010 will be $53 (from $70) for Seniors, $40 (from $55) for Juniors and $126 (from $160) for Families. Associate memberships will remain at $30 and Corporate at $100. What memberships do you need???? Below is an overview of the memberships that your will need to compete in Ontario Eventing.
