One Event At A Time Program

Program Guidelines

The One Event at a Time plan was introduced in 2007 when we imposed a $5 levy on every entry in an OHTA show. The idea behind this plan is to use these funds to encourage organizers to commit to long-term improvements to their venues through hosting the annual OHTA Championships. Each year we select the championship venue and up to two additional venues from those that apply to host. We enter into contracts with each of these organizers and disburse funds as the work progresses.

Each year, as the Championship event moves to a different venue around the province, our Ontario Eventing Community will have another significantly improved facility. Over time, we will have an increased number of championship calibre events that we can all enjoy.

Together we can all help to make eventing in Ontario a truly remarkable experience ... One Event at a Time.
Go out and have some fun this summer!
